Proverbs 17: 22 – “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine but a broken spirit drieth the bones.”(KJV)
Attitude, they say is everything. A major beauty tip is learning to SMILE often. A smile does not cost anything but does much more than you can imagine. It lightens your disposition, thereby affecting you spirit, soul and body. A smile at a neighbour breeds good neighbourliness and shows friendliness. A smile before an interview panel shows calm, pleasantness and confidence. A little change in our attitude from nagging, grumpiness and non-approachability can be the difference between success and failure some times.
Beauty is firstly an internal thing. If you’re a mess inwardly, you can’t reflect or glow with godly beauty outside. You need God to be truly beautiful. You need Christ Jesus and the beautifying influence of the Holy Spirit to radiate true beauty.
It is true that sometimes we may be faced with trying life situations and challenges hedge us in, those times when we have our list of questions as to why God would allow some things in our lives but true beauty finds expression even in the face of these challenges as she rides on them with poise.
As I write to you, I write even more to remind and instruct myself.
BEAUTY is not a mere noun nor BEAUTIFUL just another adjective. It is a proof of and endorsement for good character!
Prayer : Lord, help me know you more today, fill me with your fullness that I may reflect you adequately to the world,in Jesus’ precious name(amen).
